Missions Information

If you are interested in being the hands and feet of Jesus, then the HarborPointe missions team is the place for you! We meet monthly at the Breakthrough Center (329 Buckroe Ave) in Hampton.  All missions-minded individuals are welcome to join us as we brainstorm potential missions ideas, coordinate outreach, review past missions, and most  importantly, pray for all of those involved.

Our mission team is quite active!

The Joy Givers team continues to make monthly visits to Eden Court, an Alzheimer’s home, and Commonwealth Assisted Living Facility for fellowship, singing, and making crafts with residents.

The Nigeria Team took their first mission trip to Nigeria June 19-July 4.  They supported the Ika mission, a faith-based ministry that seeks to provide potable water to communities that lack a healthy source of drinking water.

We supply the Breakthrough Center with dry goods from HarborPointe’s food drive contributions and we are now offering soup weekly to assist in feeding our local community.

For more information, contact Tara Joyner, HarborPointe’s Missions Coordinator.
